I wonder if anyone still remembers that this blog exists? I would like to know what you guys are all up to, but I think this place is long forgotten...

:)
Hey again. Thank you so much girls, seeing your response makes me feel so much better, even tho I am a bit teary after reading your posts, lol. As Zoe suggested today, maybe we should add a little dialogue box in the page so people dun need that much effort to type a post. But I dunno how to do that :S Hopefully, someone knows and be able to add that in.
Today is Sam Lam's 18th birthday. Thanks to Geoff who organized a surprise party for Sam. The night was great, hopefully everyone enjoys their night!! :)
I am thinking of organizing a catch up thing at my place in 2 weeks time. If people read this and is interested, please email me at tkroberta.chu@gmail.com
PS. Sorry about my poorly written English! (Still bad at it after 3years in this country :S)
Love loads,

In Response: Shirley, Roberta
Thanks guys for keeping this blog alive. Now I'll do my part in contributing to our blog, our friendship's livelihood.
I miss the times we had at school too. There are so many people I've met ever since Uni started, so many people I narrate my school life to - and I thank you all for being such wonderful people, giving me the sweetest memories, both to cherish and share with others. Everytime I tell a story, it brings back all these feelings of being together as a group, eating together in refectory, exchanging stories of what happened in class, complaining about year 12 work, making funny comments in classes. All these things we did together just cannot be recreated under any atmosphere just makes it so much more precious.
I admit that I feel a tinge of jealousy when I see people with their new friends. However, I'm glad that we still make an effort to see each other, fitting that birthday dinner into our hectic schedule. If I was an outsider I'd envy our tight group. And like Shirley said, we shall hold on for as long as possible.
lotsa love

I was looking through my favourites folder and came across this blog. I thought this blog was long forgotten (and probably has been by some), but surprisingly, I found Roberta's recent post. This post, is a reply to Roberta’s post.
University is great. At uni we finally get to choose what we really want to learn- you know, useful subjects unlike HL mathematics (most of which I have totally forgotten!). We are given much more freedom and choice, as there aren’t many restrictions and there is certainly no Dr Miller breathing down our necks if we are falling behind. Also, there are boundless opportunities to meet people and make HUNDREDS of new ‘friends’ with all the pub crawls, balls and other drinking-related social gatherings.
Roberta, I think I know how you feel, because with all this said, I feel as if something is still missing for me- something, I may never find again. Roberta, you may agree that this something is the time we IBians (+ geoff, sam ) spent together in high school. Hehe, yes this may sound corny and stupid, but I MISS Pembroke, I really do. I miss sharing my IB classes with you all and I miss being in an environment that I have grown to become familiar and comfortable with.
Reflecting back, I am sure we all hated the teachers nagging us doing homework and getting work in on time and blah blah..(if any of us were even listening). In fact, we were probably so stressed with IB/ year 12 that we never really appreciated each other’s company, because everyone started to get on each other’s nerves after two years. But the fact that our teachers actually cared about how we were doing academically- whether we understood and were coping, and the fact that we were all there for each other to complain about the workload, to bitch about some teacher who gave us a **** mark, to stress about the upcoming exams, to cry after the exams and to celebrate the ending of exams, I believe was what made us such good friends, and I will cherish that.
I never really understood why people referred to their schooling days as the 'good old days' with such bitter sweetness. But now, I do, and no matter what happens to our friendship in the future, whether we stay as friends or drift off our separate ways, I am just asking that we try to stay in touch for as long as possible until we really have nothing more in common to talk about as we change and spend more and more days with other friends.
I must add, this post was not supposed to be a sad and gloomy one! I just wanted to contribute to what Roberta wrote, because I totally agree with her. Seeing as this blog was created to allow us to keep in touch, I hope we get more postings soon. Hehe, otherwise Roberta and I will look like SILLY BILLies =P Tell everyone what you guys have been up to! Even if it is something small, like how you were at uni and you got totally soaked in the rain because you forgot your umbrella! YUP! I did! Anyway, love you all.

Hey guys, this is the first that I use blogger. Man, time really flies fast.
We are now all in Uni, and some of us are in different states or even country.
But it's so awesome that we still catchup and stuff.
You know what guys, I really missed the time we have in high school.
This might sound really selfish, but seeing you all meeting new friends in a different stage of our live. I feel a bit upset. I felt that we are not together anymore, I feel really far away from you guys.
I hope our friendship still last even we are apart people. I really treasure this.
Okay, let's talk about some happy stuff.
Zoe, Schmidt and I went to Melb a few days ago to see Jvo and Qi. The whole trip was awesome. Seeing them settle in so well and having lots of new friends make me feeling really comforting. (I sound like a parent here lol) But yeah, I am happy to see you all well, truly!
Anyways, these frequent catch ups happening in Adelaide makes me feel safe.
Safe in the way that I wont lose contact with any of you. So we should keep that up.
Lol, I wonder if there is anyone using this blog still.
PS. Happy Birthday again to Berny, Stuart, Zhi and those birthday is in April.
Looking forward to see you guys soon!!
